Went with Sunpower after considering a few companies to install solar panels for our home. From the sales meeting (Michael is great!), through the installations process, and post-install the customer service was top-notch. Team was always available for any questions, and worked hard to resolve any issues encountered. The sun power app used to monitor solar production is also pretty good!

Johnny was really really great. He was very responsive when I had questions and issues. Even at night and on weekends. He made sure all my concerns were handled properly between SunPower and me. I had an issue about placeent of the panels and the SunPower engineer didn't reply to my emails for a few days but a quick text to Johnny got somebody higher up and they were willing to work with us to get it done. They were a little bit pricier but my satisfaction so far has been good with SunPower. Their crew was fast and efficient and done by 3pm. I've been online for 4 months. If there was an error on the system I emailed support and they took care of it. It was a false notification. After hearing horror stories, especially with Tesla solar contractors in our area, I'm glad we chose SunPower and Johnny at Hyperion was a huge influence on us in choosing SunPower. It's a 25 year investment for our family and we didn't want to get second rate vendors. At least with SunPower, any issues are only with SunPower and no finger pointing between contractors, panel manufacturers, etc... If they would sell heat pump based water heating and HVAC I'd be set.

Excellent service throughout the whole process. My dedicated contacts were responsive and proactive with the after-installation support with constant updates and information. Very happy and lucky that I went with this outfit for my solar installation.

Honestly, I was a bit hesitant at first, but Arvin made the process surprisingly painless. He guided me to the entire process from soup to nuts, from the initial consultation and analysis of our property, to the finances and cost calculations, and the rest of his team helped us through the permitting process with the township and getting the system up and running. He was always available to answer any questions that I had during the process, and believe me I had quite a few especially surrounding the cost and breakeven potential of the system, all of which he answered patiently and completely. He clearly explained how the net metering process in my state and with my utility company works, along with the federal and state tax incentives such that I was left without any confusion about what would be credited when. After the system was up and running he even reached out on his own to make sure that we would start the process of setting up the rebate system with the state. The entire process was transparent and went without a hitch. I can't recommend these guys strongly enough (and Arvin in particular) if you're considering residential solar in New Jersey.
