Kira is so knowledgeable and kind with how she disseminates the RIE philosophy. Weve been taking our baby to her classes since he was 3 months old and its really been an enjoyable experience for our family. Always appreciate that we can ask her any questions we need at every stage of our infants development. She clearly loves children, and is always so sweet and open with the little ones.

There arent enough words to describe how wonderful, kind and gentle Kira is. We have been in her RIE class since our daughter was 6 month old. With patience, through obersavations, and gentle guidance Kira has helped us learn how to better parents, and to give our daughter the gift of autonomy and independence. We are so thankful to Kira for this and all that she does to support our community.

We attended RIE classes with Teacher Kira with both of our children from infancy until 2. She played a major role in our parenting journey. Every week, she guided us in slowing down, observing, and trusting our kiddos to develop at their own pace. She always offered a thoughtful perspective when we needed advice. Her calm positive energy made for such a peaceful environment and our family just adores her.

Our son, Ellis, has been attending weekly RIE class in Pasadena since he was 8 months old. We noticed right away a difference in the way he interacted with new spaces and new people. The "yes" space of the RIE playroom allowed him great freedom and confidence moving around in the world.
Our dear teacher, Kira, has given us a language to speak that is respectful to him and to ourselves. The RIE parenting style has been a calming force in our lives.
Now at almost 2 years old Ellis is a master of his surroundings and an award winning hugger. We will miss the group so much when he "graduates" out of the group. We've given ourselves a great gift by becoming a part of the RIE family.

Finding RIE and Kira has been incredibly rewarding for our family. As a first time mom I found myself overwhelmed by the influx of information and ideas on raising children. Coming home to Kira each week has been the North Star of my parenting journey. With each new phase and developmental leap I find comfort in knowing Kiras gentle guidance and advice is within reach.
RIE has provided us with a safe space for my son to gain confidence in problem solving and communication. He is able to learn independently while knowing I am there to support him. It has been an absolute joy to witness his progress each week!
