I enjoy writing positive reviews, because that means I had a positive experience, but sometimes they are not so good.First, this branch is just old and ugly looking.  It reminds me of a 1970's bank. One day my brother and I were waiting to speak to an assistant manager for twenty minutes. She was helping someone else and we had been standing in line off to the side.I was bored so I decided to check the expiration dates on packages of cookies they had in what I was later told by the assistant manager were  picnic baskets. The cookies were three years old.  The picnic baskets didn't even look like picnic baskets. They had weird things in them, like a box of plastic food handling gloves, a big roll of paper towels, the expired cookies and other things no one would put in a picnic basket. Why would you leave an ugly three year old display in the center of your branch along side the customer line? Now the serious stuff.I found their lead and longest term teller to be very rude and unhelpful, especially when trying to obtain account details when I became a power of attorney for my father.  I needed to know how much money was in the account because his bills needed paid.  Even though I was listed on the account as a power of attorney and had legal documents with me saying the same thing, this particular teller argued with me when I asked questions, was very evasive and refused to give me any details. This was the normal interaction with this teller for over three years. It wasn't until near the end, that one day when Bank of West had sent this employee to a big corporate award retreat to honor her, that the Bank Floor Manager was helping at the teller window.I showed her the same documents and she told me she could help me.  The manager was able to lookup the accounts and print them out. I needed this information for my attorney. She also gave me a document that I would need notarized to pay out the accounts, and told me what information my attorney's would need to provide them.Fortunately, upon my next visit I was able to close the accounts. The manager begged me to open new accounts with the money instead of withdrawing it and moving it to another bank.I didn't want to go into all the details of the horrible interactions I had at her bank, so I told her I already had another account somewhere else that I needed the money. It was the truth, but I could have easily of opened an account there too.My final thoughts for this company if they happen to read reviews:I expect to be treated with courtesy wherever I do business, whether I personally have an account, or if I am doing business on someone else's behalf.I expect my time to be valued, my questions to be responded to in a friendly and cooperative manner.  I expect the same kind of customer service I provided to my customers while I was in business. This branch as a whole needs to go through customer success and etiquette training.  It may not help. If it doesn't try some other method to better train your employees in customer retention.Every person who walks through the doors, should be viewed as a potential new customer and account.  The entire reason banks exist is to hold my money, while they make money loaning it out to other customers at higher percentage rates.I found this review difficult to write, because there were so many bad experiences and interactions I encountered while dealing with my father's business at this bank.  I attempted to keep my review narrowly focused on highlights of key interactions.I do not recommend this branch, nor this financial institution at this time.

First, this branch is just old and ugly looking. It reminds me of a 1970's bank.
One day my brother and I were waiting to speak to an assistant manager for twenty minutes. She was helping someone else and we had been standing in line off to the side.
I was bored so I decided to check the expiration dates on packages of cookies they had in what I was later told by the assistant manager were picnic baskets.
