I did not know the power of acupuncture until I came to FLOAT. I first started seeing Abigail in my second trimester for severe pubic symphysis pain that I was told by my doctor couldnt be helped but would go away after giving birth. The pain did go away after birth, but because of Abigail I was able to get much needed relief and not suffer unnecessarily throughout the rest of my pregnancy. About 2 weeks after giving birth, I pulled a muscle and was left limping and in pain for 2 weeks. When it was clear it wasnt getting any better, I went to Abigail and after 1 session I was completely better. The relief I felt when I woke up with no pain is forever seared in my memory. I continued to see Abigail for other issues unrelated to pregnancy after giving birth; she helped my body heal from 2 separate surgeries and get back on my feet so I could take care of my baby. But the big one that Im still in disbelief over is that for the first time in my life since menstruating, I have gone 2 cycles in a row without any PMDD symptoms. She put me on herbs that I took with an open mind but a very high level of skepticism (as with any PMDD treatment, I know not to get my hopes up) and treated me in office at certain times during my cycle and so far I am living SYMPTOM FREE. I have lived in fear since my period returned after pregnancy about how PMDD will affect my ability to be a good mother to my child, and because of Abigails expertise and the healing power of acupuncture and herbs, I finally have hope that Im going to get through this next phase of my life without the turmoil that PMDD brings. She is compassionate, caring, and most importantly extremely skilled and knowledgeable. I am so lucky to have found her and you will be too.

I'm not sure I can fit all of my amazing experiences into one box, but I've been seeing Abigail for 3 years now and she's helped me through lots of phases of physical pain (headaches, back pain ) anxiety & fertility struggles over that time period. I'm convinced she's the reason I'm pregnant now. Most recently I saw her after struggling with a 5 day headache- nothing helped, and being 38 weeks pregnant with a toddler I was desperate for relief - I saw her, and walked out feeling like a new person. Thank you Abigail, for all you've done for me and my family over the years!

It isnt just that Abigail is a total wizard, working a kind of magic through acupuncture, but she is also one of the most compassionate and insightful health practitioners Ive ever met. I feel so lucky to have found her and would recommend her wholeheartedly. She is absolutely the real deal.

Abigail is a miracle worker and a truly lovely human being! I came to her feeling pretty defeated about some exhausting ovulation pain I was having. I had seen several different obgyns and none of them were able to help me find any relief. Less than a year of seeing Abigail, my ovulation pain started to lessen and at this point it's pretty much gone and I'm not nearly as exhausted as I used to be during that time! It's remarkable! I highly highly highly recommend Abigail and Float Chinese Medical Arts!!

Abigail has changed my family's life. My 13 year old with ADD fell into a deep depression. Leading up to this, we found that we could successfully manage it all with cognitive therapy and vitamins. However, this was something else and nothing seemed to work. Desperate not to put him on drugs, I searched the web for a pediatric acupuncturist that could treat him. And there she was! She got him in right away to start him on herbs even though she did not have an appointment for over a week for a session. The day he had his first treatment, he came home a different child. He refused to do homework for months, but came home that day and decided to get to work. He played one of his best basketball games of his "career", was kind to his brothers and his sharp edge was significantly softer and his depression melted away. We continued for weeks with this treatment and now he visits as needed. This was not the end of our story. She then treated my 11 year old son for anxiety causing migrated pain and digestive issues. She then figured out what had been ailing me for years that my Dr. couldn't pinpoint pertaining to mensuration and mood. I was anemic! I went to my GP and had bloodwork done which proved this. She not only treated me for this, but for hip and leg injuries I have. I conclude by saying that not only does she provide results, she cares. She has an intuitive nature that I truly believe contributes equally to her in-depth knowledge of Chinese medicine. I can't thank her enough.
