Pretty early on since Ive only been here a week but I absolutely love & appreciate my little home, this is a nice size complex with a blend of people but Managment is doing their best .. You can tell they have & will continue to clean this place up but it is at their OWN pace .. since moving in I have had my mail accessible a few times but restricted far longer
Update: 4 months as of November 22nd decreased the stars due to ongoing pest control issues .. after complaining so long previous manager
Update 7 months in, still roaches .. neighbors are disgusting. Managment allows homeless people to stay in parking lot sleeping / changing in their cars without doing anything.. neighbors drama pours into the poorly maintained hallways.. this is NOT a place for people trying to raise a family as Managment does nothing about the tenants who trash common areas ..
A little over a year & this place continues to go downhill .. management does not care at all about their tenants safety .. DEAD body found on the second floor in June , homeless people continue to run rampant at nights & on weekends .. management refuses to increase security .. its terrifying leaving your home from time to time
1 yr 3 months update : 2 weeks in a row there is randomly NO hot water .. last week when I reported this I was told well your neighbors have hot water & then 20 mins later the water heater is broken I was then allowed to shower in a vacant unit on the opposite side of my building, the vacant unit had dead roaches & spiders everywhere
1yr 4 month update : scheduled for yet another pest control appointment to handle the ongoing roaches .. the paperwork left on my door per the 24hr notice says I do not have to be home, & to move ALL furniture 18 away from the wall as well as remove everything from the closets & cabinets BASICALLY pack up all your belongings & put them into a pile
They did not spray my apartment cause I wasnt home they said despite the notice saying I dont have to be .. now they want to reschedule.. the management office will turn your life upside down for a 0 solution answer .. livid .. who pays rent to live with roaches & drug addicts !? We do !!
1 yr 6 months been about 5-6 separate occasions where there is NO hot water, its obviously NOT a priority to correctly fix issues like the broiler here, they can not consistently provide safe & habitable living conditions
If you value your basic safety & needs this is NOT the place for you.

This building is just a waste. Firstanable they gave me the apartment with full knowledge that it had bedbugs. I didn't knowrest right away as I had never had any problems like this. I had to pay for bed bug treatment, and I had to replace all of my furniture without renbersment. After this problem, I dealt with flooding in my living room and room whenever it rains. I was there 5 years, and the managers never approved maintenance for the water damage. In addition, my family developed allergies due to the mold problem. I had to move out because nothing ever got fixed.
NOTE: Many of the neighbors had to resort to file a report with the city as many of the issues are affecting their health, and no maintenance was ever done. Others had to get lawyers.
If you go online, you can verify that this building has a high crime rate. We had a elderly lady get hit on the face inside the elevator in Van Nuys side, a person got killed on the second floor, people found dead in the stairway, apartment break-ins, vandalism expect your car to be scratch/tires pop, and drug addict.... check the news on this building 9010 Tobias we had a big fire! Why drug addicts.. and yes the the building takes 0%responsibility. They have security that comes by at night every full mood ... but strangely, no one has the number for emergencies, lol
I always paid my rent on time, and as any renter reading this review, I think you would understand we are paying for a service, so asking for maintenance to be done in our apartment is not freeloading.
If you are considering living here, expect to get
bedbugs in the near future, vandalism, and no major maintenance to be done in your apartment!

Apartments are nice tho pricey but that's LA. It's not the best complex to be in if you're in a wheelchair and you're on the first floor. It is multileveled everywhere.
