Awesome campground with cabin that can be rented out through Airbnb. The views from here are amazing. The campground has lots of little spots you can check out and it's far away from any other property so it can get real quiet and peaceful. The road up and down from the place is a little bumpy so bring a 4x4

Great rustic place to stay in the mountains. Has a hippy vibe and lots of different accommodations. We stayed in the house with the deck overlooking gorgeous views of the valley. We drove from San Diego and its amazing how Palomar mountains are so close.

This place is remote and the drive up from Cole Grade Rd was a bit tough of my nerves and Honda CRV. However, I saw a Honda Fit up there, so that means any car can get up the last 5 miles. Expect to spend 25-30 minutes going slow. Beautiful environment with California oaks, yurts, and some basic bunk lodging. Great place for a "true" get away with a group for a retreat.
