I have worked with James on our first home purchase closed on October this year in Sunnyvale and can't say how glad I was to have him as our agent! I was considering a home purchase around March and I got introduced to James through a mutual friend as I was starting the process. Even in those early stages of the journey, James was very quick to help de-mystify many concerns I had about the market trends to get my thoughts together. Once I was more serious, James walked me through different scenarios of how the offer process will take place, a sample contract that I would be dealing with and tips on how to work with lenders (helped me not have an anxiety attack). While we were checking out homes (about 3 months), James was very accommodating to how my wife and I felt about doing a multiple visits to ensure we feel comfortable with different setups (i.e. visiting different time of the day to check noise level and traffic). And finally when we were putting offers, he was very careful not too force a direction one way or another yet providing boundaries so that we don't feel pressure to the decision. In all, it was a great experience to work with James!

James was a perfect partner guiding us through our first home purchase. He spent 1:1 time walking us through the offer process, what the documents look like, and local market conditions to make sure we understood what we were getting into and what to expect, familiarizing us with the key steps so we could move quickly when we needed to. James left the sourcing to us so we could search for homes on our own using Redfin, Zillow, etc. without pressure to see homes that an agent is sourcing for you. This hands off approach was much less stressful and fit our style. When needed, James would always respond super quickly, nights and weekends included, to help us learn more about properties that we were interested in. Once we decided to write an offer, James really added value to find out as much as possible form the selling agent so we had as much info as possible to inform our offer. We got the first house we put an offer in on and it could not have gone more smoothly thanks to James!
