This is one of the most unprofessional landlords I have ever worked with. And I work with a lot! We ended up in the space because of an acquisition we did. The week after the transaction this landlord told us he wanted us out because he had somebody willing to pay more. Didn’t even ask us if we were interested. Since then he’s been a slumlord. Will not pay for anything. Trash has been piling up for two weeks, there are cockroaches in our space because of the neighbors and trash accumulation. When we tell him about the issues he denys them adamantly. The cleaning people were attacked multiple times, and he refuses to put additional locks on the doors. He is concerned that will cost him $250. He says he has big plans, but he treats his tenants terribly. He treats everybody terribly in fact. Yelling and being rude. If you’re looking to lease the space from this company I would highly recommend you look elsewhere. You will run into many issues, be treated poorly, and not have your concerns addressed. There are many great landlords out there that are very helpful and care about their tenants. This is absolutely not one of them. Even The accounting department has no idea what’s going on. I had to provide them with a copy of our addendum because they didn’t even know what the appropriate rent was. Very unprofessional, and not up to par for the area. Our space is terrible and that’s why we are choosing to move out.
