        A little tough to properly rate this one. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean, and the location is good for quite a lot in the general area. But the value for the hefty price tag just wasn't there. Pricey rooms, extra parking costs, and no free breakfast all conspire to make this a 3 star hotel at 5 star prices. The location was minutes from my client, which was great, but Silicon Valley is in decline, so my view included an alley with a large dumpster. There's apparently a growing issue with vehicle break-ins, and in fact, one of the people I met with at my customer got his driver's side windows smashed on his rental car while we were there. So you really have to park in the garage to at least have a decent shot at avoiding that. But it's not gated or guarded, and it's $20/day!! Ouch! At these prices and with the growing public safety issues, I think it should be at least included in the lofty nightly price.

        This is the loudest hotel Ive stayed in. You can hear conversations in both rooms on either side and every foot step above you. Not to mention the noisy A/C which is incredibly loud. I cant believe theres not any sound proofing. Also theres construction above and drilling that woke us at 7:45ish am Sun morning and going at 8:15pm still. Just awful. If I wouldnt lose my Hilton points and $ Id move hotels. The room also has a weird perfumed fragrance thats stronger when air is on. Gave me a headache The hotel lobby is cute, good parking but they charge you for self parking and as a member I find that really disappointing. Bed is mediocre. Our view is the roof and they seemed to have had plenty of rooms and as a Hilton member I would think Id get some kind of priority not the worse view on the property. Using my points did nothing for this stay to improve our trip. The staff was the best part. Super friendly and helpful!!! Wont stay here again unfortunately

Hilton Garden Inn properties also do not offer free breakfasts, although there are several other brands in the Hilton portfolio that do, as well as free parking.
