It is always exciting to have a new restaurant open up in your city so naturally we made a reservation to try it out. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The inside of the restaurant is SO loud that we had to get moved outside to have a conversation. Next we order apps - $18 for sub par asparagus (also there were 6 spears of them for $18...) Next the food was just ok, dry, lacking flavor...not terrible but for the the price of $40 for dry chicken is not a great way to WOW your customers. Next the drinks...Espresso Martinis are $30...this is NOT New York, this is a restaurant attached to basically a retirement home. Sadly we will not be back, a lot of opportunity but didn't hit the mark.

Enjoyed everything at the new Alice B in Palm Springs. Been a fan of Chef Susan and Chef Mary Sue for nearly 3 decades, super pleased to see them investing their talent in Palm Springs, everything they touch turns to gold. Standouts are their hamachi crudo, their cheddar biscuits, the hummus is the best Ive had in So Cal, the surprise hit was their breaded chicken cutlet ! Phenomenal!!! Cocktails on point, beautiful contemporary interior. Excellent service too. Highly recommend you visit this special place. Definitely will return again soon !
