WOW! $10 cover charge after 5 pm, and if thats not bad enough, $9 for drinks that very iced down and $7 for beer. If you have money to burn, buy a front of the line annual pass for $75 or for $500 you get a front of the line at the bar, which doesnt exist at the bar after 5 pm because everyone only has one drink. Sadly, years ago, this was the best place to go on Sunday. However, the new owner doesnt know how to run this place and killed it by over charging. When the drinks were $4, everyone had more than one. I remember when there was a long line to get in and then there were long lines for drinks. Today, no more lines because most people, including the regulars, come before 5pm and start leaving at 6 pm, so why would I want a front of the line pass? I think if the current owner got rid of the cover charge and lowered the drink prices, this place would be booming again. This is one of the most expensive bars in town, used to be so fun, but now, greedy owner is killing his own business.

The good: the Saturday hostess was FABULOUS, endearing, vulnerable, and so funny! The bad (the rest of this review): we made a drag brunch reservation for 11am many weeks in advance. Days before, we were told we had to move to the 1pm seating because it had been overbooked. This should have been a clue to us about how poorly-run this place is, but we were offered a free round of (well) drinks to make up for it. We showed up at 1pm for our new reservation and no one was let in until 1:35. When one employee opened the gate to let another employee in, we had to ask what on earth was going on Not an apology. Not an explanation. You expect late drag queens (the queens themselves started the 2pm show promptly, actually), but the establishment should have it together. Our waitress was very nice, but it took an hour for the table to get water, and one half of the table got their drinks 20 minutes before the other half. That free round of drinks? We had to ask about it to make it happen. The food was not very good. Ive included a photo of the egg that came with the bagel and lox. Green eggs should only be a thing in Dr. Seuss books. Nevermind the 3 sad, soggy pieces of bacon for which they charge 5 dollars. Another person got a side of sausage that looked like some shriveled animal droppings we saw on a hike earlier in the day. The worst part is that you pay 49 bucks a person just to get in the door. The queens deserve better than this place as it currently is. Its sad, because this could have been good. For now, sashay away.

Wish they were more prepared... didn't realize they changed the hours of the show...unfortunately we had to leave. Please know that the quality of food for the price is not worth it. Eat before you go. $18.00 for 3 pieces of French toast. I know it's expensive all over, but it was nothing special. Hate to complain...but $100 for tickets then the price of a breakfast at that price is kind of ridiculous. Then you're running around trying to get get things ready at the last minute..

Still the busiest place to be on a Sunday. You can go elsewhere friend....you should save ur money and time on things more important to you. Oscar's has an opinion and so do you. We aren't forced to serve you and you are not forced to come here. Enjoy your life.

If you hate to complain then you probably shouldn't complain at all. Save all that for your marriage.
