We hired Trish as a dual agent in purchasing a property in Cathedral City Cove. We did this as she came across as knowledgeable about the property and a nice person to work with. Through the many difficulties in closing the deal we held out faith that she could make it all work out for everyone. We trusted her recommendations on inspections etc. We should have known better. After closing, we discovered that all the gas lines had so many leaks an over $125 a month bill was coming and we have still to move into the property. Once we called the gas company, they came out, immediately locked the gas and closed our account. Turns out, that someone smoking a cigarette outside of the house could have accidentally blown the place sky high. Then there was the water main that had to be replaced, the roof (that we negotiated full replaced) the pool and all of it's services had to be replaced.....needless to say.... We take complete blame for trusting in this transaction, however, the others involved from Trish, to her recommended inspector to the former home owner all have a part to play in what transpired. Every service person who has assisted us in the ensuing months to repair and maintain has stated "how could this not have been known" to EVERYTHING that they find. Needless to say, this is not a real estate agent anyone should use.
