Grapefruit Basil

This was our first time to grapefruit Basil. We enjoyed the bar, the atmosphere was good, and the pricing was not too bad. They have a good selection of wines, some great cocktails, and also some fancy tasty nipples. Plenty of parking at the back, and if youre guest of the hotel, its an easy walk downstairs to this place. I highly recommend getting one of the signature cocktails here.

Mustve been our waiters first day on the job. Its a small menu and he was clueless. Referred to the halibut as almond crusted when it is Macadamia crusted. Did not know the names of the cocktails nor the ingredients when asked about them. Someone asked if the flavor of a certain side would go well with the entree and the response was No its ok because they can put it on a separate plate They thought he misheard and repeated the question. Same answer lol Next, the food. The focaccia was burnt and incredibly salty. The Macadamia Crusted Halibut reminded me of frozen fish sticks in a sauce that the chef mustve accidentally dumped the entire container of salt into. $44 for extra salty fish sticks. Didnt dare order desert.

Grapefruit Basil Restaurant is fantastic. It is fun to dine here. The restaurant is nice, the outside seating is comfortable and is a very nice setting. The menu offers great choices for every dining preference. The employees are friendly and helpful. Fernanda was our great server and Brittany is a great manager. We will definitely be regular customers here. The restaurant was very busy for a good reason - it is terrific!
