We asked the hostess if it was ok to sit inside in the bar area with our mini labradoodle. Sit anywhere you like. Before sitting us down at a top table, we asked the only other patrons nearby if they would be ok with the dog. They said that they love dogs. We sat down and the waitress came over and said that we could not be inside with a dog. We explained that the hostess said we could. She insisted that we move until we explained that he was a service dog. She then asked to see his ID card. When shown she said great thanks for giving me the information I need. Within a minute a man came over to us and said we could not have a dog inside. Seriously? I asked if he had spoken to the other staff and that perhaps a team meeting was in order so that we could be allowed to enjoy our lunch in peace. I asked to speak to the manager he said he was. I explained that by law a restaurant could not deny access to a a client with a service dog. He said by law a resteraunt could deny service to anyone and asked my wife and I to leave.
