We needed help for a front landscape renovation from a construction company that understood and embraced client centered business principles and values.
Look Ill be honest in this day and age its harder and harder to find companies that get it and adhere to these I guess youd call them old-school business best practices.
The work included: a complete overhaul and demo of the pre-existing landscape and irrigation, prep/install for new irrigation, planter wall survey, level, and installation, and turf lawn installation.
One of the things we noted is the team at Rock Turf and Landscape. All of the team members worked together and what I mean by this is usually youll find the contractors where 1 or 2 of the team take it easy and run at 50% while everyone else is going at full speed.
The team at Rock Turf and Landscape all of the team members were always working and they each had different roles. Its nice to watch a team where all of the staff are working together and focused, definitely is inspiring and lends to competence and confidence that they are doing a good job and not a slap job.
We initially had some issues with a misunderstanding about the project and what the final product would look like. Heres what I liked about that scenario. Gus the co-owner was very courteous (zero attitude) he was a true gentleman through the entire conversation he didnt interrupt, he didnt invalidate, he knows how to de-escalate a situation and how to talk to people to ensure the client is heard, understood, and responded to. I cannot begin to tell you how relieved and comforted we were by this reaction to consumer concerns. This solidified our business relationship with Rock Turf and Landscape. Gus is civil, considerate, and kind. You wont regret doing business or working with him.
Cassie the other co-owner is the heart of the team shes a cheerleader for her team, keeps everyones spirits up and she loves children. Our 5-year-old son adores her. Cassie like Gus is also very patient, kind, thoughtful, and understanding. Cassie was able to provide clarity when we had customer questions and was such a kind person. You will love working with Cassie, she truly brightens everyones day.
Jose is the foreman he makes sure everything gets done right the first time and is always ensuring the team stays on schedule with regards to the project they are working on. Thank you, Jose, for getting our project done on time!! Much appreciated!!
David was our planter wall and turf install guy and he did an amazing job. What was once a total cluster from the home builder now looks orderly, polished, and will stand the test of time because of Davids hard work and his high level of attention to detail.
Armando did our irrigation replacement and install in addition to working hand in hand with David on the turf lawn installation. We had two turf installs on other parts of our property and they both were shoddy jobs. Armando really did a bang-up job and our turf looks amazing and our irrigation works because of Armandos hard work. Thank you, Armando it really means, so much to us!!
Lets talk about costs, Rock Turf and Lawn were competitively priced so much so that theyre quote beat everyone elses. But it wasnt the cheapest guy in town that we wanted. We wanted professional work, excellent customer service, a company that understood and valued the reward in relationship building with their customers and so on. Thats why we picked Rock Turf and Landscape and we rewarded this with an add-on project to the job by adding weed barrier and decorative rock to the job as well.
At the end of the day with Rock Turf and Landscape is worth every penny and then some! You cant go wrong with these guys, the neighbors all love their work too and they have been featured several times on HGTV Inside Out TV show as well. Gus and Cassie you are the best!!
