I found this great new concept of a thrift store called Elder Love thrift store in Palm Desert. They have great stuff and bought a lot stuff and go in every week to see the great items they sell in great condition. The cashier was kind and so friendly thank you Ana. This thrift store proceeds goes back to the Elder I the Desert areas for in- home care for local seniors. Thank you Elder Love staff and if you havent been bye yet your missing a great store

Shannon Shea is a wonderful and caring person. Before she started Elder Love she lived with my elderly mom in her home while she worked online to get her first college degree. What an incredible, kind, energetic person. She was so fond of my mom, and learned first hand about how to best help her with her needs. I am so impressed with what she has created with Elder Love, to expand her horizons and help so many more people. She has such a passion for helping the elderly live better lives by getting them the care they need at more affordable prices. I highly recommend her as a resource for your care needs. Thanks for everything, Shannon. You are the best!

* This review is for this organization's fundraising thrift store located at the corner of Hwy 111 and Fred Waring, tucked into the same mall as the now-derelict Tilted Kilt.*Make plans to stop by this relatively new addition to the already robust lineup of charity thrift stores in the Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage area. Opened in Fall 2021, Elder Love is a little hole in the wall with super friendly staff, an awesome playlist, and (as it's street name would suggest) an eclectic mix of vintage and current brands. The assortment of clothes was small as of November 2021. But it was a nice mix of vintage designer and cool trendy styles, for both men and women. For such a small space, it also packs in a wonderful assortment of pictures and artwork, furniture, and dish-ware. It's location is also ideal for a multi-store trip. You can hit Elder Love, Collector's Corner, Goodwill, and the ACS Discovery Store in rapid succession since they are all 5 mins away or less from each other. Flash 50% sales in Mondays. And they also serve sparkling wine on Fridays so, plan accordingly. :-)Store is open daily 10 AM to 5 PM. Phone 442-274-2191. You can also DM them on Facebook to check on holiday schedules.
