Hanson Rivet & Supply Co

Unless you are a large organization with rivet technology experience, do not use Hanson. I do not have experience with rivet technology and was looking for guidance on the proper rivets and tools to use in restoring a WWII U.S. Navy radio receiver. I left several email messages using their contact link on their website, to which they never responded. I finally called one morning and connected with someone on the phone who should not have been interfacing with customers. He laughed at my questions, made fun of what I was trying to do, and was obviously not familiar with their website and catalogue. He hung up on me telling me not to call back until I knew what I was doing. I have since found Jay-Cee Sales & Rivets, Inc. and am doing business with them.

Good Product, but Slow Communication. Gives an inaccurate Estimate of Shipping Costs. Severely Overcharges for Shipping and does not disclose final charges until order is complete. If they told you in advance what they are charging for shipping no one would order.
