Linda Friedman/Peggy Harmatz

In the current market, it is important to have an experienced, smart, attentive, assertive agent and Linda Friedman has all of those qualities. She is also partnered with her sister Peggy Harmatz and they are a dynamite team. My husband and I and also my brother have had their help in several real estate transactions. When we purchased our first home many years ago, we were understandably nervous. Linda walked us through every step of the process from the bid to the closing details providing us with referrals and advice. Thirteen years later we had outgrown that home and Linda patiently showed me many homes for several months before we found one we liked. It was in the middle of the sky high mortgage rate fiasco and our first home took awhile to sell. Linda was there to reassure me during every panicked phone call and once again her advice was dead on. More recently my brother was in a time crunch to purchase a new home which he very much wanted to be in Lamorinda. He went to an open house for a home which was relisted after a sale had fallen through and which was priced very reasonably. The open house was jammed and he was pessimistic that he would be able to purchase it but contacted Linda anyway. She dropped everything to help him put together an offer that very afternoon. Although there were multiple offers presented to the sellers, Linda was able to persuade them to accept his. Years of experience as a very successful agent helping clients buy and sell homes, a legal background (Stanford Law School), extensive knowledge of the Lamorinda area, and dedication to clients make Linda and her partner Peggy an outstanding team. They have my highest recommendation.

It was my pleasure to have utilized the Linda Friedman team for my recent real estate transaction and I cannot say enough about the high regard I have for both Linda and her sister Peggy Harmatz, who works with her. I have used other agents in the past and therefore have a standard of comparison. I had been told that Linda was a good negotiator, no doubt due to her legal background, and I pride myself on my personal negotiating skills as well. I must say that Linda surpassed my expectations and went beyond what I had dared to hope for in this transaction. And Peggy is a marketing whiz. I felt that they were both incredibly accessible throughout the transaction with wonderful coping skills to handle the curve balls that came our way. My husband is himself a real estate licensee, although not working in the residential brokerage sector, and he also thought they did an outstanding job on our behalf.
