        Best kept secret (until now) for easy hiking along San Pablo Reservoir. Pristine, almost flat, romantic area. EBMUD hiking fee mandatory. Buy it online BEFORE your hike. Its very very cheap and lasts 1 year!

        We went there for birding. Heard many different species, but didnt see too many. But we did see several (maybe 6?) Great Blue Heron nests with very large babies! It was well worth the visit!
