What bothers me is the non-essential "suggested" add-ons; they are sure costly. Let's face it, not all pet parents are equally versed in the array of "products" available to them. And insurance or not, visits are never cheap. Some people may have money to burn, and no time to google. Others simply trust, and wouldn't think of questioning. Just once, I'd like a small concern taken seriously and the assistant/ nurse to be so kind as to visually show me how they made the decision.

VCA is hands down the best veterinary clinic in the world! Their exceptional care for my four cats has been nothing short of amazing. The staff treats us like family, and their dedication to the well-being of our pets is truly unparalleled. I couldn't be more grateful for their expertise and genuine love for animals

This place only cares about money not animals. While I waited for my dog to get his nails cut after being told they couldnt groom him because of records and wanting to charge me an exam visit and vaccines when my dog already gets those things done at GG dog and cat hospital. (Full review on Yelp for that horrible experience with the combative front desk) A father and daughter came in with a dog that had been hit by a car and they asked if they could leave it there for care. The front rest refused service unless they wanted to be financially responsible for the animal. The dad said well we just saw it get hit its not ours but I didnt want to leave it there isnt this an animal hospital? The girl said this is a business and we cant treat animals without someone being financially responsible. The 3 of us in the lobby looked in shock as this poor hurt animal was refused care. The dad then said ok well how much are we talking, I dont want the dog to get pit down but he needs to be taken care of The girl said the exam starts at $80 and I Interjected and told them to go to the garden grove dog and car hospital as their exams are free and that vet truly cares about animals. I asked the girl what she recommended someone do in this instance as I know good people bring dogs for care all the time that arent theirs. She said she didnt know. I said this is a vet how can you not recommend an option for people? She then said try a shelter. The dad asked if the dog would be put down at the shelter she said she didnt know. Its completely unprofessional the way my own appointment was handled with the combative front desk saying she called and left a message when I showed her proof she did not. I went so far as to say Ill bring my phone records just to prove to you how wrong you are. (Again full review on that on Yelp) but absolutely disgusting that an animal hospital would turn away a dog that was just hit by a car unless there was something in it for them. For this reason Ill never recommend this location to care for your pet. After reading other reviews Im not surprised they only care about money
