This is what $6100 gets a customer: A cracked block with extensive damage from a sub professional effort to repair it. None of the parts ordered were supplied including new ported LS3 heads, arp hardware, wiseco pistons, cam bearings (down to the copper). Extensive damage between 3 cylinders in two places. A crack in cylinder 5 likely resultant from a poorly executed re-sleeve thats clear to the naked eye and goes all the way down to the bottom. Low spots on cylinder sleeves that appear to have been welded on, which may have burned the aluminum out between the cylinders. It appears a hand grinder was used to clean up two sleeves resulting in low spots that werent touched when the block was decked. The deck finish is unacceptable for use with multi-layer steel gaskets. Missing CNC ported heads provided, and replaced with used unknown origin heads without the machine work sold. Blown out cam bearings which are $25.00 a set to replace. No ARP hardware anywhere. Reused one time use crankshaft pulley bolt thats torque to yield. Two stripped out head bolt holes from using the wrong fasteners AND using These small bolts to hoist the engine. The owner claimed the block shouldnt have left in this shape (you dont say) but it wasnt his fault because at the time his eyesight was bad so he didnt see anything wrong at the time. This is by far the lowest level of work that falls so far short of professional that its criminally negligent at best, and outright fraud. Ill be reaching out to the BAR, there will be a lawsuit, and there will be an extensive and detailed report of each itemized issue both obvious currently and anything else yet to be discovered. There isnt any (none!) of the parts listed, only parts missing. No arp hardware. Used one time only crank bolt, and the worst machine work Ive seen. Unfortunately many customers have no experience and cannot spot a fraud in plain sight, but to alllll the machinists Ive shared these images and videos with the responses have ranged from disgust with vomit emojis, to embarrassing laughter, to anger and dismay. They ALL want the shop name to post in every corner of the internet and Im ready for that if this isnt handled ASAP. While the responses vary, the one consensus is this represented the highest degree of incompetence and negligence they have seen, and there are many prominent machinists commenting. I dont expect this to be resolved with integrity BUT everyone is open to that.

By far the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a business, if you can call it that. My engine was brought here March 2021, (was told it would take 3 weeks) each time I checked in to see when it would be ready all I got was excuses. Flash forward to March 2022 I pick up the engine and I'm told my old 6.0 block was cracked and now "junk" so they gave me a "good block". What I got was a block that was cracked worse than my original one that was attempted to be fixed but left with multiple cracks and aluminum missing from the deck. When I confronted the owner (Fred) with the issue he claimed his eyesight was not good and somehow missed them. Looking at past reviews it seems he is ok with taking customers money and letting them walk away with horrendous work. They also work with a shady builder being the middle man who's only intentions were to steal money from me along with reinstalling worn out cam bearings , high mileage lifters, hardware that is not suitable for horsepower my engine was supposed to make. Owner was hesitant to give any information regarding price knowing that I was being overcharged and paying for parts I didn't receive. These people do not deserve to be working on engines, continuing to do bad work and taking advantage of their customers.

These guys are not only professional but have an attention to detail and goes over all of your options. A couple years ago we (Ontario Professional Firefighters Association) was looking for an engine builder to put together a big block chevy for an old fire engine we were going to restore. They stepped up to the plate. I've seen them multiple times at Pomona Swap Meet, and while out of uniform at these events they always remembered me by name! They are really into customer service and putting together anything you ask and will go over different options based on your budget. I will be needing an LS engine for my 1959 Corvette Restomod I'm building, I'm definitely going to make a visit to them , especially now that they have a dyno! My 59 Vette build is attached. Extensive body work (fiberglass) and paint being performed by Corvette expert (Greg) at GTS Customs in Simi Valley, Ca.
