        Went in Sunday morning for the first time. We were seated quickly. Great breakfast menu! Had the Egg Avocado toast and a Denver omelette, both delicious. Especially liked the eggs on the Toast and the omelette wasnt over loaded with cheese, and the vegetables werent over cooked and a good amount of ham and bacon. Will be back!

        I hate leaving terrible reviews but the so called owner Omar left a sour taste in my mouth when I left his establishment upset regarding my food, The bacon was old cold and greasy, my biscuits were not cooked thoroughly, the hashbrown insulted my intelligence and I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese in them and I received eggs with a cold slice of American cheese on top. So I asked to speak with the manager and a man appears with a baseball cap backwards saying his name is Omar, the manager/owner and he couldn't believe I had the audacity to be upset about the quality of the food that I received and then he tried to belittle me and ask am I a business owner as if I'm not important unless I own a business. If you are ever in Oceanside CA on a business trip, vacation or even a resident of California I would advise you to go with any other Breakfast spot than The Breakfast Mug.

        Portions were small, I couldn't believe it for a $17 plate. Music was explicit, really sad for the families with little ones. The service was good, I was glad about that.

      Hey Isaiah, thanks for your review. In regards of food not being prepared the right way I do appreciate feed back from our customers so we can fix the problem and improve from there. When you go to any establishment with an ugly attitude and disrespect employees/owners and tell them how to do their job and shortly after you threatened me with shutting down my business, that you are connected with city officials here in O’side. That’s wrong! Even customers that heard you that day were very disgusted by your comments. We’ll keep improving what we do and we wish you nothing but luck!
