We bought a TL 4000 pump in 2010, and just over 10 years later, thought it would need replacement. Customer Service told me that all I needed was a new impeller cartridge, which I promptly ordered. We have our pump connected to a remote starter system since we have a tankless water heater. We press a button by the sink, and 30 seconds later, we have hot water with no water waste. We have saved 10s of 1000s of gallons of water in the past decade, and would recommend this environmentally friendly product to everyone.

We had a ready temp for over 15 years but it was destroyed when our soft water system failed. We tried replacing ours in April and had the same experience of not getting our calls replaced. I feel that Covid took its toll on the owner of the company. That can be the only reason you continue to get a recording saying they will return your call -- no return call and the mailbox for the company is full. Too bad. It was a great pump!

I had a ReadyTemp circulator for several years that worked well. When it started to leak, I attempted to contact the business to order another unit. After several unsuccessful attempts with no return communication, I finally received a text message from a person with the company--maybe the only person with the company. He informed me that the unit I had previously was no longer available and told me which unit I needed. I ordered and paid for a new unit. Once I received the unit, it was very bulky and awkward. It was nothing like the unit I had previously and basically filled up the space in the cabinet below my sink. After installing the unit according to the instructions, I tried to run it. Within minutes, the pump became very hot and could be smelled throughout the house, however, no hot water. After several communications back and forth with the company, trying all kinds of things to get it to work, the representative confidently told me that I needed to have a couple of plugs removed from my water heater. After a few weeks, I finally got a plumber to come and remove the said plugs. Same result--very hot pump, no hot water. When I responded to the company that I was finished trying to get it to work and wanted instructions on how to return the unit for a refund, they quite responding to me. I have sent a few messages and they have never responded. This is a very low-level, unprofessional company. i would recommend utilizing a more respected company.

My dad and I each bought a readytemp pump for our individual homes over 15 years ago. Mine finally quit working so I have purchased my second one, Im pretty confident this second one will last as long or hopefully longer than the first. Glad they are still around!

When we purchased our home 8 years ago, we loved the home, but soon discovered one thing we did not love. That was the wait time for hot water to reach the kitchen sink. It took about 3 minutes and some of the other locations were very slow also. We then discovered that the motor on the hot water recirculating pump above the water heater was burned out. We immediately had the pump replaced with a new one. The new pump didnt make much difference in the wait time and soon burned out also. It was then we found out the builder had not installed a recirculating line nor was the cold-water line being used as a return. When a hot-water facet was not open, the pump was trying to push water down a dead-end line. Our home is a spread out single level built on a cement slab making it almost impossible to install a retrofit recirculating line. It has water heaters located long distances from some facet locations. Long story short After spending several thousand during that first year trying to solve the problem but having very little success, we just gave up for several years. Then last year, after much research, we discovered ReadyTemp and decided to try one more time. We now enjoy using their largest capacity unit. Believe me, that was some of the best money we have ever spent. The hot water wait times are short and we save an unbelievable amount of wasted soft water. During this past year with the Covid-19 virus taking it's toll on almost all businesses ability to perform up to their usual standards, ReadyTemp always promptly answered all our texts. They have been incredibly helpful in insuring that everything worked just as we desired. As part of my earlier research, I had read all the owner comments for past years. Some had mentioned that the ReadyTemp is just a little more expensive. That may be true but it reminds me of one sentence from a respected legal firms radio commercial, i.e. If you think hiring a good lawyer is expensive, try hiring a bad one. Hearing that quote always reminds us of our bumpy road to finally finding a hot water solution that actually works. We are incredibly pleased customers and highly recommend this system. If you are going to do it, do it right. N.V. Griffeth St. George, UT
