Stephen Tinio, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Tinio's since my husband and I relocated from NY in 2018. He has been one of the most attentive doctors I have had. He listens and doesn't concentrate on the computer screen like I had been used to in NY. I appreciate this group in Oceanside and recommend them to anyone seeking a family doctor who looks at the whole wellness of a person,

My visit was below average. The nurse was very nice that did my intake and I can relate with the nurses at the front as I do the same type of work and they dont have much control of how the office operates they literally just work there. Its very frustrating how much I pay to be seen and I only get seen for 10 minutes as a NEW patient after waiting more than an hour. I was really there to only get a refill for my medication so I wasnt asking much and I got my refill but Dr. Tinio was not personable at all. You always hope to feel supported, heard, and feel cared for and I did not feel like that leaving today. It felt very much money driven. I recently had an injury that sent me to the ER and the doctor didnt even care to look at it. Very quick and unprofessional. I wish they would teach sympathy and empathy in med school.

Been going to see him for sometime now, he's always been super nice,explains everything. I'm 67 and he's probably one of the best Doctors that has cared for me.
