I love living at the Salt, been here for almost 4 months and have nothing but good things to say, the staff is so nice and so helpful, all the neighbors are super nice. The clubhouse is so cool and open all the time. We love going to beach so its perfect for us. Oceanside has tons of new bars and restaurants with alot of security around so it is a great place to live downtown!

Worst management you'll ever come across. Extremely unresponsive and everything is a mess. Happy to move out here after a year. Greystar is a nightmare and it's best to stay away. They've billed us multiple times for the same ulities and have illegally charged us for moving out fees not in the lease agreement and against San Diego County Apartment Association rules. Time for small claims

I honestly dont know how this place has bad reviews. The manager is the sweetest person I know and always has answers to any issues. Not to mention she was kind enough to walk a residents dog when they were sick. Everyone here is filled with kindness and good vibes. We have been living here and absolutely LOVE IT!!! We never wanna leave. Its so clean, neighbors are so friendly, and not to mention the apartments are absolutely beautiful!! Everything is so secured as well. You need a key fob to get into the building, get into gate, into any doors and even going up and down elevator. Also there is a security guard Friday-Sunday nights that stands out front and patrols just on the weekends when it gets busy downtown. I feel so beyond safe living here. And also yes there is an occasional homeless person, you get that ANYWHERE, especially living this close to beach. Everywhere has homeless. But they have been really good about keeping them out, I havent seen one in almost 2 weeks. Its very rare. Also its a 2 min walk to beach, TONS of restaurants and roof top bars to walk to. Thursday night markets right across the street from us. All the restaurants around us are by far some of the best places Ive ever been to eat. My boyfriend and I surf so we walk to beach and surf 2-3 days a week and its just so chill here. There are surfboard storage and showers downstairs to rinse off so you dont bring sand up to your apartment which is one of my favorite things here. Also the roof top club house is AMAZING and overlooks the ocean! And its free to rent out!!! We rented it out for a Halloween party and it was a blast. I love that you can go chill there whenever unless its rented out (very very rare). Bottom line this place is the best Apartment Ive ever lived in and I would give it 100/10 stars and recommend to anyone!!!

So many issues we've been dealing with living here. Bike storage was broken into and bikes were stolen. Homeless were living in the stairwell. We were the first to live in our apartment and in under a year our AC went out and so did our Dryer. All the amenities have been closed for a majority of the time we've lived here and while they were open so many things werent working. Management is slow to respond. Been told since December we were going to get our lease renewal. Fast forward to 3 weeks before our lease ends (End of Jan) we get our lease renewal and we're given a totally different number than what management told us with nobody to contact as management is out for two weeks. We need to give 30 days notice to move out but our lease renewal shows up only 3 weeks before? Spoke to the sister Greystar apartments and they do theirs 60 days prior to the lease ending and even thought it was ridiculous we haven't gotten our lease renewal. Parking garage gate stopped working and management sends out an email blaming someone for hitting the gate, even though there was no signs of damage on the gate. The maintenance guy is the best, very helpful and friendly. If you like living by the beach with subpar apartment living, this is the place for you
