The Oakley PD office needs real help. Condescending and dismissive front desk employee Jennifer, who threatens me with I won't get report unless she chooses to make an exception. Keep getting shuffled around to different numbers, only to end up back at original number. They expect police reports to be picked up only m-f, while people are working. Why can't they be mailed, or emailed. It's ridiculous. The website is so minimal and not advanced to be able to accomplish anything online. They need to advance with the current times. Left a message awhile back on website and still waiting, no response. I'd give negative stars if I could.

Oakley is hiring car thieves. 5 years ago I had me Nissan Hardbody Pickup Truck on my own daughter's property that my younger daughter paid rent to stay there. They came into my daughter's property. Stoled my truck that was both up to date with the registration and insurance and impounded it. When I asked for it back they said I had to pay their impound fees which I shouldn't have since my youngest daughter had been driving it and paid rent. I was going to come back from Washington State to retrieve it when I found out they stoled it from me. Suffice it to say. They are thieves!!! As last Ng as it was up to date in both insurance and registration they had no right to touch that pickup truck. Literal car thieves.I do not trust those people, you shouldn't either! If I could put a zero here I would have. In fact I give them a minus 5 stars!

I think the police officers in this town forget their real purpose is to ensure citizens are safe not just in their homes but on the streets as well. Welfare checks is just and adding unrelated false communication is awful and irrelevant.
