Quintero Trucking

We have worked with Rafael Quintero (I call him "Jefe," as in "Chief") for about 20 years, exporting the bounties of the San Joaquin, Coachela, and Imperial Valleys (almonds, pistachios, raisins, Medjool dates, dried fruit, etc) to our long time established European customers. In twenty years of doing business with the Jefe he has spared no effort to provide us with up to date advice/info relating to terminal operations at the port of Oakland, and has always delivered our containers on time. ¡Gracias jefe por su apoyo en todos estos años!

We attempted to do business in good faith with this company but were met with an offensive and dangerous business contract that included asking for the name of an employees spouse and for an employee to personally undersign credit for a company - This should never be required and is the entire reason for doing credit and reference checks, the fact that we are A+ acredited makes this an even bigger question mark. The unfortunate side is that the management of this company is unreachable. At the end of the day this means they don't get business but that still leaves honest companies like mine without transportation solutions last second and that means my own customers get hurt due to the gunpoint situation we were put in. I would say "don't work with them" but if your experience is anything like mine they'll make it impossible anyways. *Edit - Hugo, we did find a new company, we also understand the need for contracts, we just don't know why you want the names of our wives or why you would ask for individual employees to personally sign, you are doing business with a company.
