I took my cast iron and carbon steel pans to Myers to get blasted with sand beads before I re-seasoned them. They were able to get 20 years of polymerized grime off them that was starting to flake of, allowing rust to form in the bald spots. The price was reasonable, the 6 pans were all done under 45 minutes, and the work was thorough and gentle. I had never seen this method in action before, but this was so much easier than oven cleaner, car battery charger, or lye and vinegar solution bucket brigade route. I will definitely be back in another 20 years or so.

Cool spot, these guys helped me out by doing some small parts for me while I waited. Neighborhood is a little rough, but they let me park my car in their yard. Parts came out clean and ready for galvanizing.
