Mathias Masem, MD - Bay Area Hand Surgery Associates

Didn't really enjoy my experience here. I had a very early appointment 8am. I arrived about 5-10 mins early. No one was at the front desk. They showed up about 15 after my appointment was scheduled. Got a quick X-Ray. Saw the provider for less than 5 minutes and was billed over $400. I wouldn't necessary recommend coming here because the provider billed me for a "45-50min office visit", when in fact I was physically there for less than that time. Shame.

I've had experimental hand surgery done by Dr. Mathias Masem six years ago. The surgery was on my right hand, it was to improve the movement in my hand. Not any significant changes no improvement in regards to movement, just left with more pain than before I went in to have surgery. This is a daily pain an ache, I give Dr. Mathias Masem two stars because I understand that he tried to help.

Fantastic Surgeon! Kind, courteous, knowledgable and very very good at what he does. Made me feel comfortable each appointment leading up to my procedure, he genuinely cares for his patients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
