Brenda Wyatt was an absolute pleasure to work with and an incredibly thorough partner during the homebuying process. My partner and I (both first-time home buyers) are pretty savvy when it comes to internet research and educating ourselves on unfamiliar topics. But figuring out how to finance a home in 2023? There is no way we could have done that with the help of Brenda and her team. Thanks to Brenda, we were able to be among the first (and few) to take advantage of the California Dream For All shared appreciation program offered by the State of California. We feel lucky to have discovered the program in the first placeand even luckier that we found Brenda, who was as familiar with this brand new program as probably Mortgage Adviser could have possibly been. When we told her we wanted to apply, she was ready to make sure we were one of the first to get our application in the door, the day the program became available. She also had the knowledge to walk us through the complicated process of securing a mortgagefrom finding the right lender, to our earnest money deposit, all the way through closing costs. She helped us compare plans, weigh the pros and cons of different down payment strategies and provided us with some pretty sweet calculators that allowed us to try out various payment plans while we built our budget. In the end (with help from a pair of excellent agents from Red Oak Realty) we got the home of our dreams. Truly! We do not feel like we are in a starter home.
