Comal Next Door

Ordered the Al pastor bowl. Had high expectations from a friend that went here. Was let down. The bowl was small, half filled with lettuce and lacked real depth of flavor. Al pastor which is usually flavor packed was bland and had many fatty pieces. Every additional thing like pico is an add on. Maybe its just my taste but I think chipotle offers more flavor and value. I do think the other menu items might be more unique but I would avoid the typical bowls/burritos. I will not be choosing to come back anytime soon. Side note if you want tacos try tacos Oscar if you want a memorable taco experience.

We rented the space out for our staff holiday party back in December and it was the best party wed had in years. Pre-event planning was clear, quick, and easy (and Sydney was very patient with all my questions!). And on the night of, Comals staff were so kind and so efficienteven as the host I felt like I could completely relax since they thought of and took care of everything. The vibes of the space were fun, the timing of food was perfect, the food itself was soo delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be back!
