        It was easy to set up an appointment with John and he arrived promptly. He saw that our chimney had very heavy soot deposits and took about an hour and a half to clean it. This involved hauling his tools up several flights of stairs and going up on our roof. He was pleasant and professional. I will definitely call him again next time! Services: Chimney inspections, Chimney flue cleaning

        John is great. Prompt, thorough, and most importantly, honest about the work. He does not upsell or use fear tactics to convince you to implement a service that really isnt necessary (looking at you Mikes Mobile).

        We were recommended by Buck Stove to use California Chimney a year ago when we purchased an insert for our living room fireplace. John did a fantastic job and very reasonable. Now a year later we decided to remove an old fireplace. We needed someone to cap the chimney. John responded promptly and completed the job in less than an hour. He even identified a better way to seal and secure the cap. So glad we kept his contact information. Seriously consider him for any chimney/fireplace needs.
