I cannot recommend their self-defense course highly enough. While the techniques they teach are invaluable, it's the sense of empowerment and solidarity from this group of women that I can't quite put into words. It sounds cheesy but I honestly feel stronger than ever before! I haven't stopped recommending it to everyone within earshot since I started.Every week they teach strategies to protect yourself, starting with verbal communication and progressing towards more physical defense moves. The pacing is perfect, and each class includes some grounding time to start and some cool-down time afterwards, so while I can't speak for everyone it certainly seemed like the whole class felt present the entire time. The instructors are very kind and professional (not to mention strong!) and do a great job of creating a safe space where everyone felt comfortable participating in as much as they were ready for.If I could give six stars I would. Don't hesitate in signing you and your friends up!
