Moxy Oakland Downtown

Rooms are modern, beds are comfy. I thought this area was walkable and pretty quiet. Only downside is I like a steaming hot shower after a long day's work and these showers were lukewarm at best.

We loved the vibe and location of the Moxy Hotel. We were awaken early Sunday 2 am by an unexpected car side show. It last maybe 45 mins. We had the best view from the 5th floor. It was exciting and yet annoying at the same time. We would honestly stay again.

Outstanding hotel! I absolutely love staying here. Aside from the adorable and very clean rooms, the staff are friendly and the service is always GREAT!! I feel like family when I come here. This is my second home now. Jhamaria (J) is a wonderful leader. She is professional and kind to everyone. Her leadership has created an incredible culture at this hotel. Betty had my drink waiting for me when I got downstairs. When I checked in , Anup and Rohar were there to greet me with a smile. And in the morning, Eric and Kevin are so sweet! I highly recommend this hotel!!! Come see their bar, play giant Jenga, and order some food. Best place in Oakland to stay by far!! (And anywhere)

Stayed here over the weekend, and it was great. Went to the bar and had a good flat bread pizza. Rooms: Clean rooms, very modern. Food & drinks: The bar is nice and they have good snacks.
