Beware!! Dr Davis submitted unauthorized services to Delta and charged me out of pocket for services covered by my insurance. Then refused to reimburse me.

I haven't been to this dentist yet but I was motivated to post this to counter the lone bad review from 2017, which was all about poor service when making an appointment. I just got off the phone with a lovely person who was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It kinds s**ks that a business' reputation can be harmed by a single negative experience, especially one from 5 years ago.

I called on Monday the 9th trying to get an appointment with a periodontist. I made an appointment just to later cancel it because of the way the receptionist greeted me. She didn't seem happy at all. In fact the way she spoke to me made me feel as if I wasn't wanted as a patient. I said, I wanted to make an appointment as a new patient and she responded with, " You can't come here unless you have a referral." In a rude tone. I said I did and she preceded with, "Well do you even have a recent x-ray and did you give them permission to share it with us." More of the rude toned questions continued and right before we got off the phone she didn't bother to ask what my visit was even for. I asked to see if she wanted to know and she said.  " You can tell me if you want to." I clicked with her and found a better reviewed periodontist under contemporary periodontics & dental. Well what do you know. I called and the receptionist started with a nice greeting and than further into asking me what my visit was for as well as letting me know my insurance covered my consult not like the one at the previous office saying " It's 45$ per consult."As if I couldn't pay it or something. This review is solely based on the receptionist and thought maybe this is why he has no patient reviews. Because the lady is scaring away his patients with her terrible customer service.
