        Ive tried to like this store and I have given it multiple chances, but Im always disappointed and irritated by the time I leave. The items are marked up quite a lot, which makes sense for a boutique corner store. However, they either dont label or incorrectly label their items, so that every time Im checking out Im surprised by the total. Today, I went in and got a couple of things 2 NA drinks, cilantro and an avocado and was charged $20. I left and looked at the receipt to find out they had charged me for two avocados, then looked at the receipt again and they had charged me for an item I didnt even purchase. So I was refunded $6 and the employees were sassy about me asking for a refund!!! They also dont take cash and have a credit card minimum. This place is absurd. Im so over it. Also, every time Im in the store Im followed around for being Latina? And when I asked them to price check items they give me attitude.

      Dear Vanessa, forgive us for the mischarge. I'm glad to hear that we corrected it. Times are craziness in Oakland with all the breaking in has forced us to not be able to accept cash at this point. Credit card and finance institutions take about 3.25-3.50% per transition. Anyhow it is a lost-lost for all of us! We pride ourselves on customer service and being helpful for almost 10 years now in this neighborhood. If we've offended you in any way, I hope you can forgive us. Overall we valued your feedback.
