The Specific Chiropractic Center

After two accidents, I had forgotten what it was like to live without the constant pain that radiated from my neck, down my arms, to my fingers. I hated taking pain pills, doctors wanted me to have carpal tunnel surgery done, I dodged that bullet and found temporary relief with chiropractic care, but it rarely lasted more than a couple of days. It must have been Fate that led me to find The Specific Chiropractic: a friend had let me sneak into their company's employee appreciation day event, and Dr. Clum and her staff were there as a participating vendor, offering free 10 minute chair massages, and answering questions..... She helped me understand my injuries more, and we discussed how she could help me. I booked an appointment for the following week. The Specific Chiropractic is unlike any chiropractic treatment I have ever heard about, there is NO cracking of the neck, popping of the back, weird body contortions....nothing of the sort: If the initial exam and xray support it: a thermal scan of the outside of the spine "reads" your nervous system (a device resembling a computer mouse is ran down your back, and your nerve paths are displayed on a computer screen, the specific nerve needing attention is located. The adjustment, is kind of like a "reset button" we are all born with, I believe its called an "Atlas"; its misalignment has the ability to cause a plethora of health issues. Re-alignment with a specific adjustment re-sets the rest into place, there-by enabling the body to heal itself. The adjustment is "set" by several relaxing minutes on the "Perfect Chair", a zero gravity chair that embraces the spine's perfect position. A second spine scan confirms adjustment sucessfully has reduced problemed pathways. Having scientific proof that it works is just a bonus to actually being the living proof that it works. After just a handful of sessions, I was pain free permanently! They truly care about their patients, and strive to help each one attain optimum health by informing and educating. I love the personal touch of their newsletters too, they make you feel like a welcome member of the family. I love Dr. Lauren! I've been seeing her for almost two years now, and my neck and shoulder pain -- and my migraines -- are almost completely gone now. I used to have routine and severe neck and shoulder pain that would limit my movement. I also used to get migraines at least once a month. With Dr. Lauren's careful adjustments, I rarely have stiffness and only have gotten one or two true migraines since I started seeing her. I've learned so much about my own health and body from her, and I completely trust her medical opinion. I'm so glad I found her!

wow, Dr Lauren is amazing! I suffer with low back pain periodically. Visiting her office on a regular basis keeps my body in perfect alignment. If I don't need an adjustment, simple as that, she doesn't do an adjustment. I like the fact that she is not adjusting just because I have an appointment. Great place, service and convenient location!

Dr. Lauren is wonderful. Knowledgeable, caring and responsive. The massage therapists are great, too!

This definitely has been the best experience I have ever had with a chiropractic center. Dr. Clum is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She explained everything clearly so that I could understand exactly how chiropractic care affects our bodies and health on various levels. After having been rear-ended in a car accident, coming here for treatments noticeably improved my minor whiplash as well as my energy level! The massage therapists are also so talented and knowledgeable. I love the welcoming ambiance here!
