Hils served as a caterer for our 1.5 day meeting in Oakland - providing breakfast, lunch and some snacks over the two days. Great experience in the planning - quick responses and very easy to work with. They arrived early/on time and set up quickly. All the food was super tasty and there was so much of it! Great options for our vegetarian and gluten-free friends. Was also so glad that they were willing to take the leftovers off our hands to distribute to places they knew would be able to use them, rather than us just composting them. Definitely book with Hilary and her team if you have the need.

Hilary and her team could not have been better at not only catering Visit Oakland's first annual event, but also with creating a menu that reflected Oakland's neighborhoods. The food displays were beautiful, the food looked plentiful and was consumed in its entirety. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was, from passed tray, to the food stations and desserts. The staff provided impeccable service and reflected everything that we love about Oakland---welcoming, kind, helpful and beautiful. The communication was always clear, upbeat and professional. As a Certified Event Designer and event planner, both myself and Visit Oakland would work with Hilscooking again in a heart-beat and recommend them for all of your event culinary needs. I have worked with Hilary in the past when I was at San Francisco Travel and her catering company (they also catered our wedding) will always be top of mind.
