10/10! We needed a last second location for our kids bday party and Scene did not disappoint. Toby was extremely attentive and made the entire process smooth and seamless. The space is amazing and we were really able to make it our own little monster truck party. Speaker, karaoke, tables and kitchen were clutch - everyone who attended was equally impressed. Well be back.

Scene was a great space for our first in person meeting after the pandemic. It was very accessible and very accommodating. Highly recommend for your next gathering!

***If you're going to rent this space, PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE of the people who live in the building.*** It doesn't seem like the company tells the people who rent their space to be mindful of the residents who live in the building above. People are talking extremely loud and sometimes screaming, smoking weed outside, music is up so high that it vibrates people's apartments, and people on motorbikes doing tricks and going up and down the one-way street. This building has a bunch of families, sick people, elderly people, and people with disabilities. People who work from home as well who need it to be quiet. Plus many are hard workers and need to be able to rest on their days off without all the partying disturbances from all that. Why would you put an event space under people's homes?! Our homes are supposed to be our refuge. Downtown Oakland is already wild enough and makes it hard to have safety and peace outside.
