We moved out with the change of ownership. Dangerous decline in services, amenities, environment, and safety with the switch from not-for profit to for profit. Definitely do not recommend this facility!

Visited this facility yesterday with my mother, and the experience exceeded our expectations! Victoria and the facility, and amenities provided for the residents are amazing! This was our 1st stop on our list of facilities, and so far this is #1.

My mother-in-law enjoyed Lake Park for many years until the recent purchase of it by Pacifica. After the purchase, the internal communication and quality of services declined rapidly, including decreased security (random people entering the building and apartments), and regularly running out of food, which is so awful! My MIL decided to leave, as have other long-term residents. Now, Pacifica refuses to return these residents' deposits in a flagrant breach of contract and won't respond to any inquiries. Out of necessity, we now have to explore legal avenues to get back the money my 85-year old MIL is owed and needs for living expenses. It's unclear what the new owners do care about, but it's obviously not the seniors they are supposed to be serving. It is a tragic and deplorable situation. UPDATE: In response to Lake Park's response. We tried all avenues of communication with Lake Park management and owners and they kept shifting the responsibility around verbally but would not respond at all in writing. Of course we know exactly what is in the contract. And we passed 90 days a while ago. They are not trustworthy.
