Oakbrook Manor Apartments

I grew up on E19th half block away in the 50s and 60s. Before apt was Bella Vista Elementary School that I went to, they condemned it as it was brick due to earthquake Hazzard. It USED to be safe, could walk downtown when busses were on strike around Lake Merritt. So very sad that numerous times has been number 1 in US for crime. Weak governor Brown that he was in office numerous years that never curbed the violence or homeless encampments.if you want to see for you yourself on YouTube, just search East Oakland violence.

The owners fail the residents. Constantly broken laundry machines and multiple break ins to mail room. Management and maintenance staff are great but owners are negligent and only care about staging photos and making money off young families who live here. Things are not as they seem from the photos , BE AWARE.
