For any future potential customers reading this review, please read this response as well: This customer brought his boat in to our shop during our busiest season of the year. He was very clearly informed that his boat would be taken on as a project, fit into our schedule as time allowed. He understood this clearly, and stated that he had no set time frame and was willing to spend whatever it took to fix the boat. Upon dropping it off, he repeatedly bad mouthed the previous mechanic who had worked on the boat and also had not been able to diagnose the problem. We stopped charging this customer after 4 hours of labor time, but continued to put 6+ hours of uncharged labor into the boat trying to diagnose the problem. During this entire time frame, we communicated often and clearly with the customer, explaining where we were at, our next steps, and any further details necessary to communicate the circumstances. This customer decided to pick up the boat with no notice, showing up on a Monday morning, being very rude to our owners and staff with other customers present and witnessing the behavior, and commented on it to us how rude he was. Before the boat could be picked up, it needed to be put back together as we were in the middle of testing. We asked the customer to return at the end of the day to pick up his boat. The customer fully understood the price, and that he was being charged for 4 hours only but not any additional time that we had put into his project boat. At the time of payment when picking up the boat, the customer demanded that he not be charged the amount he had approved and agreed upon multiple times. He became hostile and verbally violent, threatening to "come over the counter and punch you in the face" to the owner. Customer was not willing to discuss the work completed or the amount due, he continued to threaten violence and demanded to fight. He threw money on the counter as he continued to make threats, and had to be asked to leave the property by the owner, and a sheriffs report was made due to the violent threats. As you can see by the rest of our 5 star reviews, and you would hear if you spoke to any of our customers, we take great pride in our work and we stand behind our business. Our customers leave our shop happy with the work done and return over and over again. This customer and his review are a attempt to defame our business, and do not reflect the business practices we stand by or the typical reviews we have from our customers. Thank you. Ownership
