Credit where credit is due: Farmers turned what's ordinarily a stressful situation (interior water damage) into a complete nightmare.  I could complain about Greg Beyer not responding to trivial requests for policy documentation, but that's been the least stressful part of the whole ordeal.What Greg and everyone else at Farmers are hesitant to tell you (or your HOA) is that no general contractors are willing to work with Farmers in Novato.  So when your Farmers claim adjuster steers you towards a restoration contractor be very, very careful.  You might think Farmers vets the companies they push on their customers but you'd think wrong.The restoration contractor that Farmers steered me to damaged pretty much everything they touched (when they even bothered to show up - week long disappearing acts were the norm), they didn't bother finishing the demolition, had me go through things they swore up and down were in budget, and came after me for cash.  What nobody at Farmers felt like mentioning is that this contractor was already cited by the Contractor State Licensing Board for violating §7113 "Exceeded contract amount" back in 2020, and since then they've racked up another couple citations for violating §7109.A "Departed from trade standards". Thanks Greg!
