Jennifer I Dole, DDS, Healthy Smiles of Marin

I've been a patient of Dr. Dole for many years. The thing is that She and her staff are so good at what they do that I just take it for granted. Well, I just wanted to set the record straight that if you are looing for a dentist I can't think of anyone I'd refer more that Dr. Dole and the office at Smiles of Marin!

I love Dr Dole. Her office is calm and peaceful and feels good to be in. She seems like a wonderful person and understood my needs. I trust her clinical judgement and expertise. Very grateful.

Dr. Dole has been my dentist for more than ten years and even though I've moved out of the area, I return at least once a year for treatment because I've never experienced a dentist who cares so completely for her patients, listens closely, thoroughly examines your mouth, and who NEVER recommends unnecessary treatments. I found Dr. Dole when I had a cracked tooth that another dentist said was not a problem even though it constantly ached. Dr. Dole took one look at the X-Rays and the tooth and realized I was already beginning to lose bone in my jaw because the roots were decaying. She got me in with an endodonist and ultimately I got an implant. Without her, I'd probably have lost all the bone and been unable to have an implant. Do not hesitate to see Dr. Dole! She's a lifesaver (well, a jaw saver, for sure).

Save your time & teeth! Go elsewhere. I moved to Marin so I was looking for a new place. A colleague recommended this place so I decided to give it a try.First impression: it's cute and they're welcoming. You're greeted by the receptionist, Amira. Super sweet at first. I went in for the twice a year cleaning and with that comes x rays. Once they inspect my teeth, they tell me I have 6!!!!! Cavities! Like wtf. Ok?? My previous dentist never found one cavity. As I return to start the filling, I did start to get some minor sensitivity on one tooth, so I decided to start there & according to them there were TWO right next to each other so whatever, do both. They did both fillings, one being a molar tooth. So right after the fillings were done,I started experiencing pain on one of them but gave it time to "adjust" but pain was still present! So I literally went back to this place like 4 times so they can "adjust" the filling when it end resulted in getting a root canal. Lol yay lucky me!! Unfortunately Covid then happened so everything had to be postponed- but they recommended an endo doc for the root canal, it wasn't until MONTHHHS later that I had to call Dr. Doles office to get the crown. Amira was suppose to call but never did. The crown had to be done twice because it was done too big. Then after finally getting my crown added, guess what else started hurting??? The other cavity that was done! I was SOOOOO mad that I started to experience this ache. I seriously thought I was done with pain, but no! I never went back. I've never been to a dentist more than I've been here in a year! Pain, so many "adjustment", fillings, "cleanings" yeah right. That was just one experience that got me so mad because now, I may have to get another root canal on the other filling they did causing $$ out of my damn pocket. Some dental assistants are nice, there's like two. 1 is rude. Amira can be nice but there we're moments where I called in with pain and she made it seem like I was exaggerating or what I was feeling was not right??. When I didn't show up to my appt, she called my colleague to see why I didnt show.... like don't do that! He has nothing to do with this. Then when I would go to speak with her to schedule an appt, she would take personal calls!!!!!! While I was in front of her talking about my teeth. So unprofessional. Honestly, save your money, insurance money and time and go elsewhere.
