I've been here for the last 3 years, and will continue to keep coming back! I have had an IPL and my varicose veins done here, and the experience was extremely pleasant. The doctor was very patient with me (I hate needles) and Sylvia is one of the sweetest woman I know. The final product will always blow you away.

Dr Raffi Dishakjian treatment for venus lake on my lips was magical. After year of trying to find the right treatment finally in one zap it disappeared, it's been literally less than a month and my lips are back to normal Thank you so much!!!

My prominent forehead veins started becoming more and more noticeable in. my 50's. I worked for a plastic surgeon for 10 years, and noone in the medical community could offer a safe removal recommendation for those ugly, bulging veins. I found Dr. D online and did a virtual consultation. My forehead now looks like it has been airbrushed - after a few treatments my veins are 100% gone. Sylvia is wonderful and easy to schedule with and I have never been happier with a cosmetic treatment. Worth the 3 hour commute!!!

I went to Nu Vela for the first time today for my hand sclerotherapy procedure. I would normally be very nervous, but I came to my appointment with such joy and peace, first, because of all the positive reviews that I read about Dr. Dishakjian, and second, because of my interaction with Sylvia, the receptionist. I dont know if a more kind and patient individual exists in the city. First impressions are everything and after speaking with her I knew that Nu Vela was the perfect place to have my procedure. Dr. Dishakjian is very personable and extremely skillful. Since I just had this done, it will be a few weeks before I am fully healed, but I am confident that the results will be everything I imagined and more. Ill be sure to come back with an update! Update: Its been over a month since I received my treatment and I promised an update. I had large veins in my hand before the treatment, but from what I gathered from research, I would see a difference after one session (though a couple may be required for maximum results). Even the doctor mentioned that my left hand would need another treatment. However, I did not expect my veins to looks worse. Much worse. Unfortunately, this has left me with more veins and larger veins than before. They are engorged and new ones have become visible. Im heartbroken. Am I just a special case or does this happen often? I have no idea. This was never communicated to me as a risk. I did purchase compression gloves after the procedure to aid with healing (after I was able to remove my wraps). I did everything I was supposed to and unfortunately I am in a worse position than before. Its embarrassing and unsightly. I still stand by my original review, that everyone at the office is very pleasant and the office is clean! But as far as the effectiveness and managing my expectations, Im sorry to say, I am disappointed. Im nervous to get more treatments because if it continues to worsen then my hands will look grotesque. Also, when you arrive, you go immediately into the procedure. It all happened to so fast. Take time to ask questions and inquire about all the risks. I think Dr. was in a slight rush that day because I was called in last minute for an opening and there was a patient in another room waiting to be seen right after me, but I wish I had taken time to run through everything in person (especially as a first time patient). This was a valuable learning lesson and I am writing this not to discourage you from going here, but to not be afraid to take your time and get all the facts, and know every possible outcome. It is worth it because its your time, your money and your body. I did reach out to the office and Sylvia was very compassionate. She asked me to send photos of my hands and said the doctor would look at them and get back to me (he took before pictures when I was at the office). Sadly, I never heard back. I dont know if I will return here or if I will have anything else done to my hands. This has scarred me for life. I would give anything to have my former hands back

I saw a tiktok from a girl who got the veins under her eyes removed & how she spent so much money on under eye filler etc but found a laser treatment that removed the veins which was making her under eyes dark. I rushed to Google and was so apprehensive bc of how sensitive that area is. Im so happy that I went through with the laser treatment there is some pain but its totally worth it. I immediately can see the results & theyre amazing! Sylvia is so sweet & so was the doctor. Its only one treatment but I would definitely go back if I needed to just off the warm vibes I felt. I never leave reviews but for the people that are thinking about it, just do it.
