Desert Creations Nursery and Gift Shop

This is an awesome nursery! I visited in January and it was pour raining that day, the owner and the staff were so kind and very helpful. I was in love with the variety of succulents, cactus and the gift store they have that I didn't want to get out of there. I'll visit again next time I go to L.A. I highly recommend it.

A huge selection of cacti and succulents for those interested in building a collection. Provides a great range of hand made containers and supplies needed to stage plants. Rocks, minerals and fossils add to the eye candy when visiting. Staff friendly and knowledgeable in sharing horticultural experiences.

Look no further for cacti, especially rare and unique kinds. Its family owned and operated and participates in tons of shows and conventions. I am honestly looking forward to spending money here .

Outstanding plants for the discriminate cactus and succulent plant collector. Lots of super rare, super unique succulent plants.  Huge offerings from most of the "collector's " plants of interest.  You don't find these plants easily.. (They do have a large offerings of interesting plants for beginners, but you don't always have to start with Aloe Vera), You that cool?   Then this is the place to find plants that people talk about.  Exotic, rare Euphorbias, beautiful varieties of all the "caudiciforms", and an offering of fantastic Copiapoas , you have to see to believe. The whole nursery is like that, they offer not just Mammallarias, but some really cool varieties, [like the one I posted came from DC...]. same with Haworthias, almost show quality already!  That's because Artie Chavaz is an owner.  He, and his wife Kim, run the nursery, where they sell nice pots and all kinds of neat stuff, good people!  Artie is one of the most knowledgeable people I've known, about all things  'Succulent'!  He knows what varieties and what quality, appeal to collectors, and they provide it!  They also sell at most of the big shows and sales in the wide area, LA/ SF /LV/SD/LA.??If you are serious about spending only slightly more, for the more unusual, rare, award winning plants.  Check out "Desert Creations " ASAPPS. I can be hard to find the first time, hint it's in back....

Beautiful cactus and plants .The people working there are so nice and helpful, it was our fist time visiting and we will buy more from them.
