Magnolia thai cuisine

This is a new Thai restaurant in my Valley Village neighborhood. I was not a fan of the former Thai restaurant that was at this location for years only eating there twice in 34 years. Today I decided to give the new Msgnolia Thai Cuisine a try. I am glad I did. The restaurant still has that homey old school interior. The service was very polite and excellent. The pricing is very good. I ordered my favorite dish, which is Kung Pao Chicken. Very reasonably priced and very good. I live around the corner and will be a repeat customer. I am looking forward to trying other dishes.

The place is homey but with nice space, and nice decoration. The food was really solid! The papaya salad had really punchy flavor and a good spicy kick. The green curry was a super creamy and flavorful, though I think the coconut milk masked the spicy I had ordered. The wings were not what I expected, as they weren't super spiced or sauced. They sort of resembled baked chicken wings, still had a nice crispness to them, good juicy meat, and a nice savory umami to them. I'm happy to live near here!

i'm working in the area so I Just stopped in for dinner at random and what a delight. I tried the yellow curry chicken and the pad see u. both were delicious and tasted high quality. service as wonderful as well. will definitely be back.

food was extremely mediocre. no flavor and I purchased the spring rolls which was basically a bag of salad rolled into a wrap for $8 out of control
