We were looking for a reclaimed barnwood 5 ft beam to make our mantle piece. We researched and went on numerous sites nationwide. My wife came across hardwood source site which sparked our interest as it appeared through the pictorial it was what our vibe was. We scheduled an appointment and arrived to open arms from Edwin. Truly was a great experience, not only did we find the amazing beam that fits perfectly into our vision, Edwin took us on a tour of his inventory and artistry. I can tell you we not only got the perfect piece of art (wood) for our mantle but a narrative from him that makes us want to share our experience with others that are searching for that same personal guidance.

The best slabs of wood around. Large collection and really nice people. It may not have a flashy store front but I was not looking for a store. I have been doing little projects for a long time and for my wife's 40th birthday I wanted to make her something special. And well special thing have special parts. The stores owner! Yes the guy that runs the place helped we level up as a craftsperson taking me from slab to absolutely gorgeous live edge slab tabletop. He has helped me buy parts showing me what he uses and where to find them and never rushed me or try to sale me on anything. The slab is so nice it sold it self and I can't wait to get it home and finish this table that I hope will last for generations. You should call them and you should visit them if you have even the slightest interest in working with real wood.
