Hillsdale Elementary School

The teachers hand out citations to much for anything.

My son recently transferred to Hillsdale from placer Unified School District I am unsatisfied with this school. His teacher that he has for third grade does not care if the kids complete their work or don't complete their work you will not get a call to let you know. My son always excelled in school and he seems to follow the attitudes of the teachers at the school and not really care anymore. I think it is because there are a higher number of minorities at the school in a lower-income area than the school he used to go to in Placer County. It's a huge wake-up call, of the differences in education that different classes and races of our California children are exposed to. How can we claim that we care about equality in education for everybody when the differences in just these two schools are so striking? Any bullying at his old-school would not be tolerated at all , here at Hillsdale it's not dealt with and almost encouraged in a way. Teachers at his old school, (which was 99 percent white kids mind you),used "positive reinforcement" type of discipline techniques, teachers at this school, Hillsdale, seem to favor punishment much more to a higher degree. Seems its true the white kids get the upper hand in education. Quite sickening.

Its great but sometimes I makes you wanna move because of all the drama thats happening.
