I broke a tooth in front, I went to the clinic to see the dentist in the morning and was told that my doctor no longer works for them. come later there will be a new doctor, he will see you, I came, they took me in, took a picture of my tooth, the new doctor came and looked and said you can get up and leave and look for a new clinic, I cant help you, I dont have any tools, I felt so uncomfortable and a terrible feeling of resentment . I stood up silently and left. It was horror. Im very disappointed with the attitude towards patients.

My filling fell out almost a year ago now. I am wheelchair bound. Had scheduled a filling We called yesterday to confirm the appointment and we were told the dentist had quit and my appointment was canceled appointment. NO communication from the office. The only remedy offered was to schedule an appointment in May. Trusting them to schedule a dentist to finally replace the filling that fell out. I have a terminal disease and this experience makes my life that much harder.

Good morning everyone! Normally I don't post reviews but I gotta speak my mind on this because I'm still traumatized about my experiences with SCC Dental. So the male doctor that works there isn't too friendly at all and seems like he just doesn't really care if your comfortable or not and isn't accurate with the information of what needs to be done before starting his work. The last two times he did work on me he was aggressive and sloppy. Having water running all over my face and my eyes. Being messy. Hurting my mouth and my gums. Not giving me a heads up about what he's doing first before doing it. Then the second time it was supposed to be for finishing up work on the tooth I got a rucanel done on my upper tooth with some filling fron the female doctor who worked on me for that procedure and this appointment was supposed to be with her. Instead I didn't get a heads up they were gonna have the aggressor do the work. His assistant an older lady was too busy telling the male doctor her personal life while he was looking at my teeth then he stuck the needle into my gum area for the wrong tooth without a heads up then asked the assistant it's this tooth right while looking at the wrong tooth then was like give us a second. It's like he came in and started working on something without any accurate information. Ugh! When they came back in I said I thought my appointment was to finish the filling and he explained that it would last for a long while and will be fine. Wow. So then he proceeded on cleaning my teeth roughly and got messy again. I was in so much pain. The female doctor however I remember she took a look at my teeth and my mouth was not in the greatest shape and I asked about a doctors note in case if I couldn't work and she made a comment that was not professional and gave a personal input saying people have worked in worst conditions. Well not everyone is the same so. And when I asked about a doctors note in case if I couldn't work, she said they don't do that. There was a referral sent out for my infected tooth to a place that doesn't accept my insurance so then I call scc dental to let them know and instead of them helping me out, they tell me I gotta call and find a place that will do the work with my insurance. Wow. The places that I have called they do accept my insurance recently don't have anything open from 2 months to 6 months later. Not their fault. But when I call Scc dental, they refuse to give me medication for the infection I have to be able to be stable and work because they haven't seen me since December and the only way their going to maybe give me medication is if they see me. I will not go back over there because they are full of it and don't care! No way! Guess I'm stuck dealing with having an infection where my mouth is non stop swollen until I find a different dentist to go to. Hope I don't end up getting the infection into my blood stream where it could get worse.

I would liken this place to "generic brand cereal"; it's good, just not as good as the name-brand. Staff is friendly, though some of the techs seem inexperienced. Equipment looks outdated, and some of it is dirty (the splash glasses you couldn't even see out of and probably weren't disinfected between uses, and the x-ray machine had some weird gunk on it), but the lobby is clean. Because this is a community clinic, they get pretty busy, so expect to wait a month before you can get an appt, that your time with the actual dentist will be rather quick, and any extensive work (like fillings) will take multiple appointments (so only 1, maybe 2, fillings per visit). If you just need a cleaning, x-rays, or other simple preventative care, then this place will be adequate enough for you.
